“Something nice and casual, and minimalistic” was the brief from our client in this beautiful bedroom.
A plain drapery, with a beautiful handle giving the fabric strength, which flows like liquid. We installed this gathered drape on a silver decorator track.
To create soft elegance, the drapes were puddled on the floor an extra 50-60mm.
We went with the gathered heading with a block-out silicon lining behind, rather than the formality of a pinch pleat.
It was tricky dealing with corner windows, but we love a challenge and we had space where we could pull the drapes from the windows. Tracks are mitred in the windows a third above the architrave and underneath the cornice to balance the look.
